Hello again! It's been a while, sorry for not responding to your last reply. Last time I descided to stick to the option I posted earlier, and havent tried your profile utill today. The problem is still here, just like it was back in 2016. In desktop mode (or any other mode if you set up exact resolution) game stretches to this resolution, even if the actual in-game resolution is not the same (like in main menu, it is always 1024 by 768).Actually, I think that it is not even a bug, but the way how your program should work. Or is it?So, the thing is that the game runs fine in modes when you can set up resolution, but only if you set it to 0 by 0, so it changes dynamicly, depending only on in-game resolution.I used this approach with desktop center + hide taskbar but it feels kinda hacky, and taskbar buggs out from time to time.I was wondering, if it possibe to make some kind of hybrid mode of desktop and desktop center, when all desktop spase is used, but you still can specify the resolution?
cossacks back to war exe
I tried with "Screen resolution" options, and it is all the same, in any configuration.I can set up resolution in in-game settings, but it only affects rts mode. Menu is not configurable and it always stays at the exact same fixed resolution. When you launch the game without dxwnd, main menu still has it's own resolution (you can see how desktop changes it's resolution right before the launch). When you enter a battle, the game changes resolution to what was set in in-game options, and reverts it after you go back to menu. When you exit the game, desktop reverts to its original resolution.
